Some Celtic fans have been hailing the latest tweet that Durham City AFC recently posted about Didier Agathe.
Durham City had confirmed Agathe as their new manager last week, and their latest tweet had them post about Agathe’s jerseys, that are soon to be available to pre-order. They called it a ‘limited edition’ jersey and had the new manager’s name on an ‘Agathe-inspired’ Durham kit, which was in traditional Celtic colours. They went on to tag many Celtic-related accounts.
On seeing this, many Celtic fans flocked to the tweet. Some of them seemed sure that they will buy the shirt, while others made their admiration clear.
Whoever thought of this marketing campaign is a genius. We’ll buy anything Celtic related ????

Agathe was at Celtic for five years of his career, joining the club from Hibernian in January 2001 for a fee of £675k. He left the club in the winter of 2006 and later joined English side Aston Villa (via Transfermarkt).
What do we think?
While Agathe was able to build up such a rapport with the fans during his five-year stay, the player also won three Scottish Premiership titles and just as many Scottish Cup crowns in that time. This shows that he had a very fruitful time at Parkhead and explains why Celtic fans still admire him and want to buy his jerseys.
