Some Celtic fans have been talking about former manager Ronny Deila after a post involving him caught their attention.
Hoops-related page Celtic1967.com recently posted about Deila. The post asked Celtic fans at which point they thought Deila’s days at Parkhead were numbered.
On seeing this post, many Celtic fans recounted some negative memories from Deila’s time at the club.
He was onto a hiding from the start. Lots of fans complained from day one and some of the players, Chris Commons, to name one attitude was appaling. Then the dodgy refereeing decisions which basically robbed him of a treble.

How would you rate Deila's time as Celtic manager?
Average
Good
Terrible
When Kris Commons openly had a right go at him in the dugout after being subbed against Molde … and then Deila started him 3 days later – credibility gone at that moment

What was his first game again Great guy, but I never was convinced right from the off. He was a project for Peter Lawwell and the cheap option. Perhaps now he has more experience he could be a future manager ? Struggled to go watch us under him though

When Malmo knocked us out at the playoff stage. That was a disgrace. The eventual defeat to sevco in the Scottish Cup didn’t come as a surprise. Nice guy but totally out his depth.

Good guy. But…should never have been Celtic manager.

Nice fella, but was wrong choice as manager, the very minute Celtic were considering him to be Lenny’s No. 2

Love our Ronny but no Celtic Manager quality, good eye for a talent though that shouldn’t be forgotten. Brought us the likes of Ajer and Johansen.

Deila had been the Celtic manager for two years, joining the club in the summer of 2014 before leaving in 2016 – going on to manage Norwegian club Valerenga. He is currently the manager of Major League Soccer side NYCFC (via Transfermarkt).
What do we think?
As the Hoops boss, Deila may have lasted only two seasons but he won the Premiership title in both of his campaigns. This shows that he didn’t have a bad time as the club manager and deserves credit for it, even though he did eventually leave, seemingly with not all the fans on his side.
