Bitton joined the Hoops from Israeli club Ashdod in August 2013. He has been at the club ever since and has now spent a little under seven years at Parkhead (via Transfermarkt).
What do we think?
Over the years, Bitton has made 211 appearances in all competitions for the Hoops. He has scored 12 goals during this time (via Transfermarkt).
The current season has seen the player make 30 appearances in all competitions. He’s played 15 of those matches in the Premiership (via Transfermarkt).
While he hasn’t been a regular, at 28 years of age, he offers some experience as well as added depth in the centre-back position for the Hoops. It seems as though Celtic fans have developed a special liking for Bitton over the years.
