Some Celtic fans have been raving at an image of the club’s kit from back in 2012 after it emerged on social media.
Celtic fan St. Anthony recently posted the image, which contained Victor Wanyama, Gary Hooper and Thomas Rogne wearing the white jersey, with the post labelling the kit it a ‘cracker’. The post also said that the jersey was ‘one of Nike’s best efforts’.
Many Celtic fans flocked to this tweet. They loved how good the 2012 jersey looked.

The Parkhead club had used this white jersey as their third kit for the 2012-13 season (via HistoricalKits).
The 2012-13 campaign was a good year for Celtic, seeing them win the Scottish Premiership title, beating Barcelona 2-1 in the group stage of the Champions League before going on to lose to Juventus at the last-16 stage of the tournament, while also winning the Scottish Cup (via Transfermarkt).
What do we think?
Celtic fans clearly seem to have loved how this jersey looked. With the Adidas deal now in place for next season, they can only hope that the company can design some good jerseys that the fans can be proud of.
