A group of Leeds United supporters have been responding to the club’s recent Twitter post. The update informed the fans that individual fitness sessions are continuing and that small group training sessions could kick off from next week.

Since the post, it has been reported that the EFL has given the Championship players the option to self-test for the virus as part of their ‘flexible approach’ ahead of the planned return to training at the start of next week (as per Sky Sports), essentially giving Marcelo Bielsa’s side the green light to return to Thorp Arch once the process is complete.

Many of these Leeds fans were keen to comment on Mateusz Klich and the shape he appears to be in. The Polish midfielder has started every single one of the club’s Championship fixtures so far this season – highlighting his importance. He’s contributed four goals, four assists and his average performance rating currently stands at 6.96/10, according to WhoScored.com.

The news that the Whites should be able to return to small group training sessions from Monday will come as a huge boost to those hopeful of the season’s restart.
