Lustig had spent over seven years at Parkhead. He had joined the club in January 2012 and had left them in the summer of 2019 to join Belgian club Gent. He had arrived at Parkhead from Rosenborg on a free transfer (via Transfermarkt).
What do we think?
The defender had made as many as 276 appearances at Parkhead for the club. This shows his longevity as a Celtic player and what the club meant to the Swede.
Would you have prime Mikael Lustig back at Parkhead?
Absolutely!
That ship has sailed
The comments of the Celtic fans show that they fondly remember Lustig’s time for the Glasgow-based side. His police hat celebration as a Celtic player and how much he played at the club might be enough to make him a rather memorable player for the club.
