Some Celtic fans have been gushing over a video involving their former player Shunsuke Nakamura that recently surfaced on Twitter.
Hoops-related page ‘Celtic Soccer Show’ recently posted a video of Nakamura scoring two free-kicks for the Hoops against Manchester United in the UEFA Champions League back in 2006.
Many Celtic fans have been raving about their former star in response to this tweet.
To do it once is good , twice is remarkable, probably the best free kick ever at Celtic park

Is Nakamura the greatest free-kick taker in Scottish football history?
Of course
I don't think so
He could hit a free kick that BHOY

The first one they clearly had no respect for that mans skills, second one they had but it was the best free kick you’ll ever see

Incredible. But to do it twice. Phenomenal.

Nakamura joined Celtic from Italian club Reggina in the summer of 2005. He remained at Parkhead for four years before leaving the club in the summer of 2009 for Spanish club Espanyol (via Transfermarkt).
What do we think?
As a Celtic player, Nakamura had contributed to as many as 64 goals in 142 appearances in all competitions. He also helped the club to win three Premiership titles, one Scottish Cup and two League Cup titles.
This is proof of how impactful a player he was at the club. Considering that the free-kicks in question came against Sir Alex Ferguson’s Manchester United, one can see why it means so much to the Celtic fans.
