A group of Celtic supporters have been discussing a recent article in the Daily Record that was written by Keith Jackson and shared via his Twitter account.
The piece claims that the Hearts owner Ann Budge has put forward a proposal to revamp the professional game in Scotland.
It is understood that the SPFL chief executive Neil Doncaster is preparing for a series of ‘monumental meetings’ next week during which he will ‘hold crisis talks’ with the top-flight clubs.
The future of the country’s game is at risk due to the global pandemic which is likely to force clubs to start the 2020/21 campaign behind closed doors, despite a number of the second-tier clubs admitting recently that they cannot afford to start the next season without crowds.
Here is how some of the Parkhead faithful have responded to the post.
Not Armageddon again!

Or just relegate hearts.

Is the ‘Armageddon’ that’s coming, the same one from 2012, or is it “THE Armageddon’?

Are you convinced that Scottish football requires a revamp?
Yes
No
Based on the tone of the above responses it seems these Celtic supporters are less concerned by what the future holds for Scottish football and continued to joke about this being ‘The Armageddon’ for the game whilst dismissing the need and the viability of the proposed reconstruction.
Bet you’re ragin Armageddon has already been used ???

Yer man at Ayr Utd was on The Nine programme tonight saying this reconstruction proposal was already dead in the water.

Doesn’t matter. Only companies die not clubs. Just relaunch and claim the old company’s history. Sorted.

What is also abundantly evident from the replies is that the Hoops have very little sympathy for Hearts’ situation and suspect that Budge’s proposal for an extended top-flight is fuelled by self-interest.
