The tweet from Spiers went on to reveal that they have made 3,000 phone calls to elderly and vulnerable supporters since lockdown began, and that works out as about 60 calls per day (per Tim Spiers).

So, after the journalist relayed the club information to social media, supporters continued airing their admiration for the work the Old Gold have been doing in the community.

What do we think?

As can be seen in the responses from these Wolves fans, lots of those who were replying had received a call from the club themselves or knew someone who had and were delighted that the Old Gold had been in contact.

To have made an average of 60 calls a day to Wolves fans in the community is nothing short of brilliant from the Molineux club, and it is great to see that fans are appreciative of the effort.
