Fans of West Ham United have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays the latest news on West Ham, Everton and Liverpool target, Mario Gotze.
Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc has recently confirmed that the 27-year-old is set to become a free agent at the end of his current contract, which expires this summer, with the Evening Standard reporting that the Premier League trio will all be keeping an eye on Gotze.
In reaction to the reports, which were relayed by West Ham Gossip on Twitter, fans of the club have flocked to have their say on the matter, with many suggesting that Gotze is not the type of player the club should be interested in, and that they would rather see West Ham make a move for younger players with more desire.
Do you think Gotze would be a good signing for West Ham?

Which is the complete opposite of what has been said lately. Youth and hunger from the championship and French league

His best days are behind and will want high wages……so obviously it’s a typical West ham signing.

What do we think?
So far this season, Gotze has featured in 15 matches for Dortmund in the Bundesliga (with only five being starts), in which the 27-year-old has scored three goals, averaging a disappointing WhoScored match rating of 6.43.
As such, it would appear that many of these West Ham fans who claim that Gotze’s best days are behind him could very well have a valid point.
