Fans of Everton have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports of the club’s interest in potential Newcastle United target Franck Kessie.
According to recent reports by Tuttomercatoweb, Milan would be willing to let the midfielder leave the club this summer, with the reports suggesting that both Everton and Newcastle have been in contact with the Rossoneri regarding the midfielder.
In reaction to the reports, which were relayed by Toffee TV on Twitter, fans of the club have flocked to have their say on the matter, with many suggesting that the club should make a move for the 23-year-old, while others, in contrast, have claimed that the club should avoid signing the Ivory Coast international.
Do you think Everton should make a move for Franck Kessie this summer?
Yes
No

A hard boiled egg with an Everton kit painted on it would improve the midfield

Yes, should we sign him? No.

He’s interesting. I can’t help but think he’s been a bit mishandled. He’s got workrate and athleticism. He’s more of an attacking player, but his team has been pretty rough to watch. If he was cheap, he could be a good buy low sell high option. he’s still very young.

Yes

Given our midfield is possibly the weakest in the league (certainly the slowest), I’d say yes.

What do we think?
Since joining AC Milan from Atalanta for a fee of £21.6 million last summer, Kessie has gone on to make 23 Serie A appearances for the Rossoneri, scoring one goal and providing one assist, averaging a WhoScored match rating of 6.55.
As such, it would seem that there is certainly room for improvement in the midfielder’s performances, although there appears to be enough for this particular section of the Everton fanbase to recommend that their club should make a move for the 23-year-old.
