Spurs fans on Twitter have been discussing some quotes from young midfielder Oliver Skipp.
The 19-year-old spoke to the club’s website about returning to first-team training ahead of the return of top-flight football in England. He revealed that: “It’s great to have that communication with the players again, and the staff, and seeing those familiar faces that I’ve known for so many years.”
The academy graduate has struggled for regular game time this season, making just four appearances in the Premier League and averaging a disappointing 6.13 rating (per WhoScored). However, he had started consecutive games against Norwich City and Burnley immediately before the suspension of football, so perhaps we will see him more regularly when the season resumes.

Now that Jose Mourinho has confirmed Spurs have a fully fit squad available ahead of the return of the Premier League, Skipp may struggle to secure a regular spot in the first team, but perhaps we will see more of him next season.
