Fans of Everton have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports of the club’s interest in Patrik Schick.
According to recent reports in Italian publication Gazzetta dello Sport (via Sport Witness), Everton are interested in bringing the AS Roma centre-forward, who is currently on loan at RB Leipzig, to Goodison Park this summer.
The reports go on to claim that the German club does have an option to buy clause in the loan deal, for a figure believed to be around €29 million (£25.8 million), however, it is unsure whether they will activate it.
In reaction to the reports, which were relayed by Toffee TV on Twitter, fans of the club have flocked to have their say on the matter, with many suggesting that they would love to see their club make a move for the 24-year-old Schick.

He would work well with dcl and kean I think he would favour kean the most though because of his hold up play.

YES we need another striker.

Most definitely. We need a natural goal scorer (like Lukaku) that will convert the abundance of chances Ancelotti is creating.

What do we think?
After making a £26.10 million move from Sampdoria to Roma back in 2018, Schick went on to make 58 appearances for I Giallorossi, scoring eight goals and providing three assists, before being loaned out to Leipzig for the 2019/20 season.
So far for the German side, Schick has featured in 16 Bundesliga fixtures, scoring seven goals and providing two assists, averaging an impressive WhoScored match rating of 7.03.
As such, with this upturn in his goalscoring at Leipzig, it is not surprising to see that many of these Everton fans would like their club to make a move for the £18 million-rated forward.
