Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to a post from Serge Aurier, in which he responds to the criticism he has faced for appearing to break social-distancing rules by meeting with a barber.
The Ivorian shared a picture of himself with a fresh haircut on his Instagram page, which has led to the North London club reportedly investigating their defender as he looks to have broken guidelines for the third time. The former PSG man has already been forced to apologise after he went for a run with a friend and had a training session with Moussa Sissoko.
The 27-year-old responded to criticism with a message on his Instagram story, saying (as per Daily Hotspur): “My hairdresser is negative and me too so stop talking in a vacuum and put on masks and gloves when you come to take pictures at the training centre it’s part of the rules too.”
Does Aurier's message justify his actions?

Try to defend him as much as possible but when he comes out with stuff like this it’s really difficult too ?

These Spurs fans clearly aren’t too impressed with Aurier’s response.
What do we think?
It is disappointing that Aurier clearly thinks himself above the social distancing guidelines that had been set by the government, and perhaps a fine by the club will lead to him considering his actions more carefully.
