Spurs fans have flocked to a tweet from former striker Peter Crouch after he relived the memories of his goal against Manchester City from 10 years ago, which sent the North London club into the Champions League.
The former England striker quoted a tweet from the Spurs Web which shared his winning goal from the win against Manchester City from 2010, saying: ’10 years! What a night.’ Spurs travelled to fifth-placed City in the knowledge that a win would be enough to secure Champions League football next season and a 1-0 win, thanks to the solitary goal from Crouch, sealed a spot in the Champions League for Harry Redknapp’s side.
Now that the former Liverpool man has shared his goal on his Twitter page, it has given Lilywhites supporters the chance to re-live the goal and praise the 39-year-old for his effort.
