Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to the latest news from the FA which suggests that the governing body will not sanction scrapping relegation or voiding the season.
According to Martyn Ziegler in The Times, scrapping relegation or voiding the season is not being considered by FA chairman Greg Clarke. It therefore seems as if top-flight football will return this season, which could present issues for Spurs, with Jose Mourinho’s side currently occupying eighth position in the Premier League, with their hopes of earning a Champions League spot ahead of next season looking slim at this moment in time.
After this news was shared with fans via Daily Hotspur, Lilywhites supporters were quick to share their opinions on the latest season update.
Should the season be voided?
Yes

Insane, and impossible to implement. As soon as a player gets it, his whole squad will have to go into isolation, as well as the players from the team he last played against.
The PL has no choice but to void the season

These Spurs fans clearly aren’t too impressed with the FA’s update, with many seeming to think that the season should be voided.
What do we think?
If it wasn’t completely safe to resume playing football, you would hope that the FA wouldn’t be suggesting that the season will be completed. Therefore we believe that, as long as it is safe to do so, the season should resume.
