A lot of Newcastle United fans have replied to a post from The Chronicle that has a link to a piece about Lee Charnley.
The piece, produced by Lee Ryder, claims that Charnley hosted a call with Steve Bruce and the Toon’s players to discuss the Premier League’s plans to start the league again.
It is not clear from the piece what the players thought of the plan, but Danny Rose is one Toon player who has spoken out against the Premier League’s plan.
However, it appears to be the mention of the names Bruce and Charnley that have got these Toon fans talking.

What do we think?
Newcastle are currently in the middle of a proposed takeover by Amanda Staveley’s Saudi-backed consortium.
Mike Ashley has received a deposit, and the deal is currently with the Premier League going through the required checks.
It is reported that Charnley will be leaving the club should the takeover go through, but until then, it appears as if he is working as usual and gearing up for the possible return of the Premier League.
