A lot of Newcastle United fans have replied to a tweet from Luke Edwards after he offered his thoughts on rumours of new information which might delay the proposed takeover of Newcastle.
The Guardian claims that new evidence regarding the piracy of sport in Saudi Arabia has been submitted to the Premier League.
This caused Edwards to tweet about the ‘hitch’ and stated that though there is fresh evidence it is not ‘proof’ and the deal remains with the Premier League.
The Daily Telegraph reporter then said in reply to one fan that a hitch does not mean the deal will be blocked.
This has drawn a huge reaction from these Toon fans who appear to be growing tired of the wait.
Do you think this new evidence will stop the takeover?
Yes, too many issues with it now
No, it will just cause a delay
There have been rumours of hitch in #nufc takeover for few days. But please understand throughout this there have been claims and counter claims, delays and problems. Fresh evidence of piracy doesn’t mean proof, it remains with the PL and nobody knows their decision yet.

Getting real frustrating now.
The more “news”, “claims”, “legal documents” and “protests” are getting reported, the more doubting, frustrated and angry the fans are gonna get.
And in the end, Mike will pull the plug and another 13 years with the cockroach.

But yet some reporters “claim” to know. Getting daft

What do we think?
The Daily Mail’s Craig Hope previously claimed that the Premier League would make their decision this week, while a report on nufc.com stated that the takeover would be completed before next weekend.
However, this new evidence could cause further delay – so we recommend that Toon fans sit back and relax because they can do nothing to speed up the process.
