A group of Liverpool fans have been discussing midfielder Naby Keita after @ZedKay_101 shared a video compilation of the 25-year-old on Twitter. The Anfield club signed the Guinea international from RB Leipzig in July 2018 in a deal reportedly worth £54m (via Transfermarkt.co.uk).
The player has been limited to just nine Premier League appearances this season due to a combination of injuries and being left out by Jurgen Klopp. His average performance rating in the English top flight this season currently stands at 7/10 according to WhoScored.com, despite the fact he has been in and out of the team, which in our view, suggests there is more to come from Keita if he is able to stay fit and get a consistent run in the side.
Keita is currently valued at £30.15m according to Transfermarkt.co.uk. Here is what a sample of the Anfield faithful have had to say regarding the midfielder.
Keita is honestly one of the best dribblers in the world when fully fit and it’s a massive shame that he never is, always gets injured when he is having a few really impressive performances. They game at the king power was one of his best, he just glided past Leicester’s

He would Rip the premier league a new one if he can stay fit. Hopefully his luck with injuries changes.

What do we think?
It’s clear from the above responses that these Liverpool supporters have very little doubt regarding the player’s talent. However, there are major concerns about his ability to stay fit and so Jurgen Klopp may feel he cannot rely on the player to marshal the midfield regularly.
