Fans of Manchester City have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports stating that Newcastle United could be interested in signing defender John Stones.
According to recent reports by The Telegraph, Rafael Benitez is keen to be reinstated as Newcastle manager – and if he is, he would be interested in the possibility of signing Stones.

What do we think?
Since arriving at Manchester City from Everton for a fee of £50.04 million in 2016, Stones has gone on to make 129 appearances for City, helping his side to win two Premier League titles, one FA Cup, three League Cups and two Community Shields.
However, despite this success, it would appear that some of their fans would be happy to see the 25-year-old defender move on this summer.
