Fans of Manchester City have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports regarding the latest on midfielder David Silva.
According to reports in The Times, although Silva’s current contract with City is due to expire on 30 June, the attacking midfielder will remain at the club until the end of the current season.

Since arriving at City from Valencia back in 2010, Silva has gone on to make 424 appearances for the club, scoring 74 goals and provide 137 assists, helping City to win four Premier League titles, two FA Cups, five League Cups and two Community Shields.
As such, considering how successful Silva has been over his decade with City, it is no wonder that many of these fans appear pleased at the news that he will be able to finish his final season with the club.
