Fans of Manchester City have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays claims that Newcastle United are in talks with City defender, John Stones.
According to Nicolo Schira, Newcastle are interested in both John Stones and Philippe Coutinho, with the ‘first talks’ being started between the players and the North East club.
In reaction to the claims, which were relayed by both Man City Xtra and City Chief on Twitter, fans of the club have flocked to have their say on the matter, with many claiming that they would be happy for Stones to leave, while others have suggested that they will miss the defender, should he leave Manchester City.
Would you like to see City sell Stones this summer?

What do we think?
Since joining Manchester City from Everton for a fee of £50.04million back in 2016, Stones has gone on to make 129 appearances for the club, helping them to win two Premier League titles, one FA Cup, three League Cups and two Community Shields.
As such, the 25-year-old has been extremely successful so far in his spell with City, and, should the £32.4million-rated defender make the move to the North East, it could be argued that City’s loss might just be Newcastle’s gain.
