Liverpool fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest reported news surrounding RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner.
This comes after Liverpool fan Twitter account @AnfieldEdition shared a post on their page relaying news originally from The Football Terrace podcast (via The Daily Express).
The claims suggest that Werner is desperate to join Liverpool for four main reasons; the chance to play in the Premier League; the chance to work with Klopp; Liverpool’s good relationship with Leipzig and because he feels the Reds are suited to his skill set.

The 24-year-old, who is currently valued at £57.6 million according to Transfermarkt, has been in fantastic form so far this season. In 36 appearances for Leipzig in all competitions, Werner has managed to score 27 goals and provide 12 assists so far this year (per Transfermarkt). Now that these reported reasons why Werner wants to join Liverpool this summer have been shared on Twitter, this opened the door for lots of Reds fans to have their say on the potential transfer.
