Who was better for Liverpool?
Xabi Alonso
Javier Mascherano
As this XI made the rounds on Twitter, lots of Liverpool fans took the opportunity to share their thoughts that Xabi Alonso should have been in the team instead of Javier Mascherano.
Probably swap Mascherano with Xabi Alonso

What do we think?
Alonso spent five years at Anfield from 2004 to 2009, in which he managed to make 210 total appearances for the Reds (per Transfermarkt).
The response from this post just goes to show how much these Liverpool supporters admire and respect Alonso for what he did during his time at Anfield.
