Many Liverpool fans have been reacting to The Telegraph’s report claiming that the government will give the Premier League the green light to return in June, prior to the government’s official seal of approval for the return of professional sports next month from earlier today.
The UK government has indicated that the Premier League would be allowed to make a long-awaited return from June 1st behind closed doors. As previously outlined by The Telegraph, this would all be subject to safety conditions being met and infection rates not rising.
At the time of football’s suspension, Jurgen Klopp’s side were just two victories away from winning their first league title since the 1989/90 season. Whilst the UK government may allow the Premier League to resume, there is now a dispute amongst the participating clubs in regards to fixtures being played at neutral venues, with as many as eight of the 20 teams said to be unhappy at the proposal.
Here is how some of the Anfield faithful have responded to Telegraph’s report, which surfaced late on Sunday.
Too much money at stake and the fact 3 clubs WILL be relegated. The show must go on. Vamanos.

What do we think?
Based on the above responses, it’s clear some of these supporters feel that despite the risks involved, the show must go on. However, one fan was keen to highlight that in their opinion, safety isn’t being prioritised by the authorities.
