Some Celtic fans have been fuming at Alex Rae after a post involving the former footballer caught their attention on Twitter.
A Celtic-related page called RhebelRhebel recently posted two images of Rae. One carried a tweet from the Daily Record about him, while another had him in a Gers top and labelled him a ‘tax offender’.
Rae had claimed that Celtic’s prospective title triumph would have an ‘asterisk’ over it, should the Hoops be gifted the title in the event that the Scottish football season cannot continue, claiming that ‘most teams’ would want the season to be played out and the title to be won ‘mathematically’.
On seeing this, many Celtic fans flocked to the post. They made their displeasure for Rae clear.

Considering Rae’s past connections with Rangers, one can see why Celtic fans don’t like him too much. Since Rae’s comments seem to question Celtic’s title credentials this season, they are bound to not be pleased about what he has said.
