Supporters of Everton have taken to Twitter to air which player would be their ‘dream signing this summer’ after the question was posed to them.
On Tuesday morning, @thetoffees_com asked fans which player would be their ‘dream signing’ in the next transfer window and this had supporters touting several names.
? Your DREAM signing this summer would be ______________ #EFC

I still like the idea of Zaha. 4-3-3 with him on the left, Richy on the right and Dom down the middle could do damage imo. Get Gbamin fit to play CM, with Gomes and someone else either side. I know Carlo favours the 4-4-2 like but I think this could work.

We need a better right back. I feel like this summer will see a lot more selling than buying. The dream sales would be: Sandro, Tosun, Martina, Gylfi, Niasse and Bolasie. Maybe I’m forgetting a few of the deadwood players but we need to offload a ton, like what we did last summer

Do you believe that the Toffees will make many signings in the next transfer window? No, I can't see it being manyYes, I think we'll make a fair few |
The image used by @thetoffees_com in the tweet was one of Napoli’s Hirving Lozano after Corriere dello Sport previously touted Carlo Ancelotti as having a possible interest in the player (via Sport Witness).
However, when fans began sharing the name of their ‘dream signing’, no supporter mentioned the Mexican except for one who was keen for him to not be signed.
Not this guy

What do we think?
As can be seen in these responses from Everton supporters, there is not one player who could be considered as a general consensus that supporters want to sign.
However, with the current viral outbreak touted to have a ‘devastating financial effect’ on British sport (per The Guardian), the supporter who mentioned free transfer signings could be barking up the right tree.
