What do we think?
Upamecano has been in remarkable form for Leipzig so far this season, averaging a WhoScored match rating of 7.23 over his 21 Bundesliga appearances, in addition to a 7.30 rating in six Champions League fixtures.
Furthermore, if City could indeed purchase the 21-year-old for as little as the €40 million (£34.9million) reported, it would represent great value for money, as Upamecano is currently valued at £40.5 million by Transfermarkt.
As such, it is no wonder why so many City fans want their club to do all they can to sign the Leipzig defender.
