West Brom’s official Twitter account recently posted some footage of Romaine Sawyers’ “best and worst moments” from his time as Albion boss in the ‘EFL Football Manager Cup’.
Some Baggies fans have flocked to this tweet, with many reacting positively. Sawyers was chosen to represent West Brom in this Football Manager tournament, where he has been competing against players and fans of other EFL clubs on the computer game, as explained by the Baggies’ official website.
After Sawyers led West Brom to a 5-0 victory over Coventry City in Round One, the 28-year-old recently came crashing out of the competition as his West Brom side suffered a 3-1 Second Round defeat to QPR, who have been represented by supporter Rob Roberts-Facey, as per the R’s official Twitter account.
Despite losing to QPR, it appears that some Baggies fans may take some positive memories of Sawyers’ performance in this competition, based on the replies to this tweet showing his best and worst moments from the Football Manager tournament. What do we think?
Considering that there are no professional football matches being played in England at present as a result of the current viral outbreak, it may be understandable why some Baggies fans have looked to this virtual tournament as a means of enjoying some football-related entertainment at this time.
