What do we think?
According to Soccerbase.com, the former Baggies defender’s Hawthorns career lasted from November 1993 until February 2001 when he officially retired from the professional game when a “long-running battle with injury” ultimately forced Mardon into retirement.
Considering that he spent the majority of his professional career as a Baggies player, in addition to the fact that his professional career may have ultimately been cut short due to injury issues, it may be understandable why some Baggies fans have been sharing some positive memories of Mardon in response to this tweet.
