Do you think that Sheffield Wednesday will need to act heavily in the transfer market this summer to compete for promotion next season?YES, WEDNESDAY NEED TO SPEND BIG THIS SUMMERNO, WEDNESDAY DON'T NEED TO SPEND BIG MONEY TO GET PROMOTED |
Get rid of Lees, Rhodes, Palmer, Ban Aken, Odubajo and Reach and then we’re looking good! #swfc

It’s absolutely abysmal. Would be interested to know which players Monk has ‘identified to take the club forward’ as he said after Wigan. Because if that is anything to go by I would say that leaves us with 5 maybe 6 useful players altogether.

What do we think?
The 16-man list of players who Wednesday have currently got under contract for next season doesn’t include the likes of Steven Fletcher or Jacob Murphy, who are currently the Owls’ top two goalscorers for the 2019/20 Championship season. With that in mind, it may be understandable why some Wednesday fans may be less than optimistic about their chances going into the 2020/21 season when looking at their squad.
