Many Rangers fans have been discussing the actions of Dundee United’s sporting director Tony Asghar and manager Robbie Neilson on Twitter.
Indeed, the pair met up for a beer to celebrate their club being named as the Championship winners following the SPFL’s decision to end the season.
Rangers-focused Twitter account @CoplandRoadOrg posted a tweet which shared that Asghar tweeted a picture of the pair, seemingly ignoring the lockdown measures that have been implemented by the government in order to tackle the recent viral outbreak. Some Rangers fans have been fuming in response to this tweet.
Embarrassing. Inappropriate.

What do we think?
Based on the above responses, we can see that some of the Rangers faithful have been far from impressed by the actions of these two key Dundee United figures. It was announced earlier in the week that the Scottish Championship, League One and League Two competitions have been ended after Dundee voted for the SPFL’s proposal (via Sky Sports).
However, this goes beyond football. Given the current circumstances, the actions of the pair in our opinion were irresponsible and bound to cause much outrage.
