Some Rangers supporters have been discussing their striker Alfredo Morelos who has been back home in Colombia ensuring those less fortunate are being fed. The 23-year-old has been pictured delivering emergency food parcels in his hometown of Cerete in order to aid the fight against the recent viral outbreak (via The Scottish Sun).
The report also details that Morelos has donated £75k to Colombia’s fight against the virus. The forward who arrived in Glasgow from HJK Helsinki in July 2017 in a deal reportedly worth £1.08m (via Transfermarkt.co.uk) has recently hit out at some of his critics, claiming that his ‘envious’ critics ‘invent flaws’ about him (via The Scottish Sun).
Here is how some of the club’s supporters have reacted to the news Morelos is heavily involved in the fight to prevent further spread of the disease.

As frustrating as he can be, love him. He has a heart of a buffalo right enough and more pertinently it’s in the right place ?

Is the bad press that seems to follow Alfredo Morelos unfair?

No doubt mate I’ve already had a wee argument on twitter with a guy saying Alfredo always has the camera ready for a photo

Wonder why Scottish media outlets and ex professionals like @Record_Sport @scotsunsport @MichealStuart14 @chris_sutton73@ScotlandSky aren’t reporting this.
Must be because he’s a right rotten apple that Alfredo.— Robert Logan (@robbielogan72) April 10, 2020
One fan even joked about a fine and a three-match ban. Indeed, Morelos has even stated that he thinks he’s treated differently as a player, hence the fan joking that he’ll be punished for something positive. And, the club have also raised their concerns in the past.
3 match ban and a £10000 fine has just been announced by the SFA

What do we think?
Alfredo Morelos has 12 goals in 26 appearances in the Scottish Premier League this season as well as providing his teammates with three assists (via Transfermarkt.co.uk). His actions off-the-field prove that he is invaluable not just as a footballer but also as a human being.
