Some Rangers supporters have been discussing their striker Alfredo Morelos who has been back home in Colombia ensuring those less fortunate are being fed. The 23-year-old has been pictured delivering emergency food parcels in his hometown of Cerete in order to aid the fight against the recent viral outbreak (via The Scottish Sun). 

The report also details that Morelos has donated £75k to Colombia’s fight against the virus. The forward who arrived in Glasgow from HJK Helsinki in July 2017 in a deal reportedly worth £1.08m (via Transfermarkt.co.uk) has recently hit out at some of his critics, claiming that his ‘envious’ critics ‘invent flaws’ about him (via The Scottish Sun).

One fan even joked about a fine and a three-match ban. Indeed, Morelos has even stated that he thinks he’s treated differently as a player, hence the fan joking that he’ll be punished for something positive. And, the club have also raised their concerns in the past.

Alfredo Morelos has 12 goals in 26 appearances in the Scottish Premier League this season as well as providing his teammates with three assists (via Transfermarkt.co.uk). His actions off-the-field prove that he is invaluable not just as a footballer but also as a human being.
