A lot of Leeds United fans have responded to a tweet that shows a spectacular own-goal from the Whites in a game at Goodison Park.
The footage, which can be seen here, shows an Everton player try and play a ball through for his teammate (0:06), but Leeds’ David Wetherall does well to read the situation and get there before the Toffees man. (0:08)
However, unfortunately, as he attempts to stop the ball reaching the Everton player (0:08), he manages to rather beautifully lift the ball over his own goalkeeper and into the net. (0:08)
The footage has drawn a reaction from many Whites fans.
Do you now find this funny?

David Weatherall, got Leeds United into European Cup whilst playing for Bradford City, he should be remembered for that…I prefer Sandy Browns flying header against Liverpool, it`s on Twitter if you want a laugh.

What do we think?
This was a superb finish from the defender; unfortunately, it was at the wrong end.
However, judging by some of the replies, many Leeds fans can see the funny side of this goal and have praised the finish.
The Whites lost the game 2-0 and we think this goal will always be remembered for the wrong reasons.
