Some Charlton Athletic fans have been left unconvinced by some recent reports which claim that Addicks owner Tahnoon Nimer “has promised” the club’s manager Lee Bowyer that the “club’s future is secure”.
London-focused journalist Toby Porter recently posted a tweet sharing an article that was recently published on Londonnewsonline.co.uk. As per the report, Bowyer recently shared that the club’s owner has reassured the 43-year-old manager that the club “are going to have financial backing”, despite the challenges that may present themselves as a result of the current viral outbreak.

As reported by the Evening Standard, Nimer is yet to provide proof of the source and sufficiency of his funding to the EFL, following his takeover of Charlton Athletic back in January. With that in mind, it may be understandable why some Addicks fans are unconvinced by the owner’s alleged promises to Bowyer.
