Some Celtic fans have been discussing the latest Premiership update that emerged on social media recently.
UEFA released a statement on Tuesday, stating that ‘a strong recommendation’ has been given to finishing league seasons across Europe. They also said that ‘special cases’ will be given consideration when it comes to how some competitions should be resolved and where it leaves affected clubs with regards to UEFA tournaments.
When the Daily Record relayed this piece of information, many Celtic fans were in discussion. Many of them made it clear that they want the season to be played soon.

The Premiership has been suspended since March. Recently, the suspension was extended until the second week of June because of the ongoing issues surrounding the pandemic.
What do we think?
Celtic are currently 13 points clear of the Premiership title. They have beaten Rangers twice in all competitions (via Transfermarkt) and look to be the superior side in the title race.
Keeping that in mind, one can see why Celtic fans are desperate to see their team win the Premiership by playing the competition. Having said that, they should know that football will only resume if it is 100% safe to do so.
