Some Celtic fans have been talking about the potential permanent transfer of Fraser Forster after a post about him went viral.
Hoops-related page Celtic1967.com recently sent out a post asking fans about who the club should sign at the end of the season. The post carried an image of Forster and Mohamed Elyounoussi.
On seeing this post, many Celtic fans made it clear that Forster’s move should be made permanent soon. While some feel less excited about a potential permanent deal for Elyounoussi, Forster seems to be a much more popular choice amongst the Celtic fanbase.

Moi is done I think.. Gave us a nice spell in autumn but not enough to warrant the fee unless another loan

Who should Celtic sign permanently?
Forster, surely
Elyounoussi
Forster definitely.. I’d like El Younoussi but he’ll cost Edouard type money, Can’t see the club going for it.
Hickey (Hearts) and Ferguson (Aberdeen) be two solid signings.

Fraser Foster of course. Silly Question?

I’d love both, but foster would be an exceptional signing full time. Although I think Mohammed would be incredible if he signed full time too

Forster, who is valued at £5.85 million (as per Transfermarkt), had joined the club on loan from Southampton this past summer – with Elyounoussi following.
What do we think?
This season, Forster has been a regular for the Hoops. He has made 39 appearances in all competitions, with 28 coming in the Premiership. In the league, the Englishman has kept 14 clean sheets so far (via Transfermarkt).
This shows that he has been a crucial player for the club – his highlights include saving penalties against Copenhagen in the Europa League and against Rangers in the League Cup final. This shows how Forster has proved his mettle in big games and Celtic fans are right to ask for his permanent signing.
