Some Celtic fans have slammed Kris Commons after a post about the former player emerged on Twitter.
Hoops-related page Celtic1967.com recently posted about Commons, asking fans to give their opinions on the former Celtic man, as well as questioning whether they believed he was overrated or underrated during his spell at Parkhead.
On reading this, many Celtic fans made it clear that while they appreciate his time at Parkhead, they seem to dislike how it all ended for him.
How would you rate Commons' time at Celtic?
Overrated
Underrated
Great player for the money paid, but after the way he publicly disgraced Ronny Deila who was Celtic manager should have ensured he never wore the hoops again.

A fantastic player for us. Let everyone down with his antics. Not acceptable. A disappointing end.

Great player at the time but his subsequent media career has soured memories of him

Neither he was immense for us although his head grew disproportionately large. He seems to have lost his allegiance compass since departing.

Great value for money, though became a lazy troublemaker at the end

Commons had arrived at Parkhead from Derby in the winter of 2011, before being loaned out to Hibernian in the December of 2016 and eventually leaving Celtic on a free transfer in the summer of 2017 (via Transfermarkt).
What do we think?
Commons was involved in a bust-up with former manager Ronny Deila during his time at Parkhead. Apart from this, Celtic fans seem bothered by whatever he’s said about Celtic and their players in the media.
But the fact that he racked up 89 goals and had 72 assists during his time at Parkhead shows why they should not forget his contributions to the club. In that sense, the comments of the fans do seem a bit harsh on Commons.
