Some Celtic fans have slammed the latest Twitter post which had rumours linking John Guidetti with a Parkhead return.
A Hoops-related page recently posted an image of a report from Swedish daily Dagens Nyheter. The post said that the outlet is reporting about how Guidetti will return to Celtic next season from Alaves for a €2m (£1.7m) fee.
On seeing this image, many Celtic fans were left fuming. They think the image was a mock-up and any transfer is unlikely to happen. Some others commented on Guidetti himself, saying that they won’t like him back at Parkhead.
Massive photoshop.

Guidetti was previously at Celtic for one season. He joined the club on loan from Manchester City ahead of the 2014/15 campaign (via Transfermarkt).
He had a fairly impressive record at Parkhead, scoring 15 goals and picking up 11 assists in 35 outings in all competitions (via Transfermarkt).
What do we think?
The outlet in the Twitter post indeed is a valid one in Sweden, but according to their website, they haven’t reported anything about Guidetti joining Celtic. It seems that these reports are as yet unfounded and Celtic fans are right to call it out – though it appears they would not want the ‘story’ to be true in any case.
