Some Celtic fans have been talking about Jorge Cadete after a post about the former player went viral on social media.
Hoops-related page Celticbible recently posted about Cadete. The post about had some quotes from Celtic’s former Portuguese player. The quotes were from an interview that Cadete gave to Herald Scotland back in 2003.
Cadete had talked about how leaving Celtic was his ‘biggest regret’ and it makes him ‘sad’ that he couldn’t stay at the club longer.
On seeing Celticbible’s post about Cadete, many Celtic fans discussed the player. Some slammed him for leaving too early.

Cadete was at Celtic from 1996 to 1997. He had arrived at the club via a short spell at Brescia and left the club for Spanish side Celta Vigo in the summer of 1997. He went onto play at Bradford City and Benfica, too.
What do we think?
CelticWiki claims said that Cadete ‘chased the money’ and that he ‘lost touch with reality’ at Parkhead. In that sense, one can see why Celtic fans are angry at Cadete for leaving the club after just two seasons.
