A lot of Leeds United fans have replied to a tweet from journalist Tom Carnduff, who claimed on Saturday that the country had been in lockdown longer (33 days) than Darko Milanic lasted as Leeds boss. (32 days)

To kick things off what season is this from?

Milanic was appointed in September 2014 and lasted until October of the same year. In that time, he picked up three points in six matches, and this statistic has got these Leeds fans talking about Milanic’s spell as manager.

What do we think?

Milanic replaced caretaker boss Neil Redfearn and managed to lose three of the six matches he was in charge of and was then dismissed and replaced with Redfearn, who stepped into a full-time role.

Since Leeds sacked him, Milanic had been in charge of NK Maribor until last month.

During that season in question, the Whites had four changes of manager (Redfearn twice) and ended up in 15th place – a far cry from where they find themselves today.

Under Marcelo Bielsa, Leeds are top of the league and seven points clear of third-placed Fulham.

However, this post has made some Whites fans remember just how bad things were not long ago.
