Some Celtic fans have been raving at an image of Pat Crerand that was posted onto social media recently.
Celtic fan ‘Highland_Paddy’ recently posted an image of Crerand, going past a tackle from a player behind him in a snapshot from his playing days, donning an old Bhoys jersey.
On seeing this image, many Celtic fans were raving about the jersey. They loved the design in the picture.

To me that remains the only acceptable change strip. Was worn very few times— against Killie and sometimes Morton in cup game. Agree it should be brought back and would fly out the shop

Should Adidas bring back this Celtic jersey?
Yes, I'd love that

No there’s our away kit right there. Also very nice with green shorts. We should start a campaign.

What do we think?
The comments of the Celtic fans show that they loved the jersey that Crerand is wearing from the 1960s. With the club’s kit deal with Adidas set to start from the next season onwards, the fans can only hope that they can replicate a design like that one.
Since the Adidas kit agreement is a record deal for the club and within Scottish football, it will help the club earn more financial profits. If Adidas can produce something that is a hit with fans, the club could be set to reap the financial rewards.
