Some Celtic fans have been raving at a video involving Gary Hooper that went viral on social media.
Hoops-related page CelticLisboa recently relayed a video of Hooper on social media including some of the striker’s goals for the club. The post also noted Hooper’s contributions at Parkhead and how many goals he had scored for them.
On seeing this post, many Celtic fans hailed Hooper. Many of them lauded his finishing abilities.

Top finisher was Hooper, prob lacked a yard of pace to go to the top level. Big mistake joining Norwich, needed to be in a team that dominated the ball.

Hooper, who signed for £2.61 million, was at Celtic between 2010 and 2013, joining the club from Scunthorpe United and leaving for Norwich City (via Transfermarkt).

During his time at the club, Hooper made 138 appearances in all competitions, with an impressive goalscoring tally of 82 goals and 30 assists for the Hoops (via Transfermarkt).
He won the Premiership twice and won the Scottish Cup just as many times. He was also the league’s highest goalscorer in the 2011-12 season (via Transfermarkt).
This is proof of Hooper’s impressive goalscoring abilities. The comments of the Celtic fans seem to paint him as a consistent goal-getter and they are certainly within their rights to do that.
