Dembele joined Celtic from Fulham in the summer of 2016 and had stayed there for two seasons, when he left for Ligue 1 side Lyon (via Transfermarkt).
During his time at Celtic, Dembele made 94 appearances in all competitions for the club. He scored 51 goals, while picking up 18 assists (via Transfermarkt). He had joined Lyon for a fee of £19.7 million (via BBC Sport).
What do we think?
Dembele’s goalscoring record was prolific and his numbers clearly show that. He won two Premiership titles at the club before his 2018 departure and scored seven goals in nine games against Rangers. This too clarifies what an impact he had at Parkhead and judging by the comments, Celtic fans still love him and they have every reason to feel that way.
