Some Celtic fans have been raving at Mikael Lustig after a post about the club’s former player was posted online.
The Celtic Twitter account recently posted a video of Lustig talking about his time at the club. The defender hailed Celtic as a ‘great club’, while he is ‘happy’ to have plied his trade with the Hoops.
On seeing what Lustig had to say, many Celtic fans were in awe of the Swede. Some said that they want Lustig back at Parkhead.

Lustig had been at Celtic for seven and a half years. He joined the club in the winter of 2012 and he stayed at the club till the end of the 2018/19 campaign. He joined from Rosenborg and left Parkhead for Belgian club Gent last summer (via Transfermarkt).
What do we think?
According to Transfermarkt, the Swede made as many as 276 appearances in all competitions for the Hoops, scoring 21 goals and picking up a tally of 40 assists.
The amount of time he spent at the club and the appearances he racked up shows how Lustig made an impact at Celtic, while the fact that he won as many as eight Premiership titles with the Hoops shows exactly why Celtic fans would want him back at Parkhead.
