Some Celtic fans have lauded the latest Twitter post that their former defender Erik Sviatchenko recently put out.
Sviatchenko’s latest tweet concerned Celtic’s Lisbon Lions from the 1960s. The tweet revealed that Sviatchenko and his father had played a role in designing the 50-year anniversary jacket for the legendary side. Through this message, he paid tribute to that team.
On seeing this tweet, many Celtic fans lauded Sviatchenko. Many made it clear that they want the former defender to return to Parkhead.

Sviatchenko had joined Celtic in the winter of 2016, leaving the club in summer 2018 to re-join former club FC Midtjylland (via Transfermarkt).
What do we think?
Celtic fans seem pleased by the way Sviatchenko paid tribute to the Lisbon Lions through this tweet, while he received plenty of praise for his role in designing the commemorative jacket.
As a player for the Hoops, the Dane had made 63 appearances in all competitions. He had also scored two goals while picking up four assists for them (via Transfermarkt).
All this paints the picture of Sviatchenko being a very likeable figure for Celtic fans. With that in mind, one can see why they still love him.
