Some Celtic fans have been lauding an image of a jersey from years gone by that was posted on social media.
Celtic fan St. Anthony recently posted an image of Hoops memorabilia to Twitter. The image claims to show a jersey – which the user admitted to not washing because of its sentimental value – that was given to their father by club legend Sean Fallon when he was the club’s manager for a brief time back in 1975. As per CelticWiki, Fallon had become the Hoops’ interim manager as Jock Stein was fighting for his life following a car accident.
On seeing this image, many Celtic fans were raving. They loved how good the jersey looked. One fan even suggested what would be the best way to wash the old jersey, while others discussed their favourite Celtic keepsakes.
A thing of beauty. ???????????

Outstanding pic and story!
Somewhere in my mum’s house there’s a photo of me with Bobby Lennox from back in the 80s when he turned up one day at a soccer camp at Butlins in Ayr…the soccer camp was being run by a pro goalie, can’t remember his name, had a beard, maybe Ayr’s kpr— grimbobaggins (@grimbobaggins1) April 19, 2020
Wash in a white pillow case on its own. Gentle spin.

What do we think?
Judging by the comments of the Celtic fans, they certainly seem to love the old jersey. With the Adidas kit deal now signed, they can only hope that they can make stylish jerseys for the club from next season onwards and make the fans happy in the years to come.
