Some Celtic fans have been hailing a video involving Jozo Simunovic that was posted on social media recently.
Celtic1967.com shared the video, which was from last year when Simunovic had scored against Kilmarnock. The Hoops had won the game 1-0 thanks to the defender’s header.
As per BBC Sport, the game was played days after the death of Billy McNeill and the game had marked the occasion of paying tribute to the Hoops legend.
On seeing the video, many Hoops fans admitted to being emotional. They had high praise for it.
I remember the chills realising that

What do we think?
The goal was poetic justice to McNeill’s legacy in many ways as he wore the number five jersey that Simunovic was wearing on that day. More so, the defender had scored after 67 minutes, poignantly marking McNeill’s part in the Celtic team that won the historic European Cup title in 1967 to help the Hoops become the first British team in history to win the trophy.
This shows what a magical moment that was. The fact that the win had helped the Hoops move to within one point of winning the Premiership title made it even more special. Celtic fans seem to realise the importance of that and the moment certainly deserves a lot of plaudits.
