Some Celtic fans have been hailing the latest tweet that former striker Moussa Dembele recently put out.
Dembele’s tweet saw him share a post from the official Celtic Twitter account, which concerned a penalty that Dembele scored against Rangers in the 2018 Scottish Cup semi-final. The post also asked fans if that was the ‘greatest’ penalty that they had ever seen.
When Dembele responded to this tweet, it left many Hoops fans raving. Some made it clear that they want the Frenchman back at Parkhead soon.

Dembele’s stint at Parkhead spanned a total of two seasons. He had joined the club from Fulham in the summer of 2016 before leaving for Lyon.
During his time at Celtic, Dembele was a regular amongst the goals, scoring 51 goals and got 18 assists in 94 games in all competitions (via Transfermarkt).
What do we think?
Dembele’s goals show how impactful a player he used to be at Parkhead. It also shows why Celtic fans would want him back at some point.
But considering Dembele has been linked with moves to Chelsea and Manchester United recently, it seems unlikely he will return to the club in the near future.
