Some Celtic fans have been talking about the latest update that UEFA has issued about the league seasons.
UEFA has recently stated that they have given leagues a deadline of 25th May to decide how they want to restart their current campaigns and provide them with an indication of their preferred plans.
This piece of information was relayed on Twitter by CeltsAreHere recently. This left many Hoops fans talking and many of them feel that it is inevitable that they will be handed the Premiership title.
However, many fans noted that should the SPFL’s plans involve ending the current season on the day of the deadline, the title could be handed to the Hoops on the same day as when the Lisbon Lions won the European Cup back in 1967.
Brilliant date for it to be declared, HH 9in a row ????

The Hoops find themselves at the top of the Premiership table and have a 13-point lead over Old Firm rivals Rangers. Just days before the latest Old Firm derby, the Premiership season was suspended and the suspension was later extended until the second week of June.
What do we think?
Considering how the table currently looks, one can see why Celtic fans seem delighted – though the deadline outlined by UEFA clearly gives the matter a greater significance.
This shows that there is something poetic about this. But with about four weeks to go for 25th May to arrive, things can change very quickly, so it remains to be seen whether the date will once again provide an iconic moment.
